For project-specific sourcing requirements, contact sales with the specification and we will confirm what applies to each line item. Test data and certificate of conformance available on request. For 1,728 LC with remote splicing, six HD3U-NT over one HD3US are also orderable as one part number, HD21U-R-LC-1728.
The Fiber Entrance Cabinet (FEC-6912) lands the customer's 6,912F armored or dielectric ribbon OSP cable and splices it to 288F or 144F plenum preterms (PTP-) for the runs inside the building. HD3U enclosures hold up to 432 LC in 3U, HD9U stacks up to 1,296 LC in 9U with cassettes, and the HD3US splices 1,728F in 3U.
Preterminated OSP cables (PTO-), 12 to 144F on Corning ALTOS cable with SMF-28 Ultra fiber, are built to length so crews pull and plug in without field termination. Runs inside a building, including Fiber Entrance Cabinet exits to the racks, use plenum preterms (PTP-).

LC, SC, MTP and Cat 6 plates and MPO pass-through cassettes fit all five HD enclosures, except 36-port quad plates in the wall mounts; OOFC splice cassettes fit the HD1U, the HD3U family and HD Slim, and the OOFC-24 also fits the wall mounts.
