Two 12-fiber MTP trunks in at the back on US Conec MTP-12 adaptors, 24 Corning singlemode fibers out as 12 LC duplex ports at the front, in one HD position. Factory terminated and tested, so a high-density link goes live by plugging in a trunk instead of splicing in the field.
The cassette uses the same 4.29 x 1.38 in front as our HD adaptor plates, so it mixes with plates and splice cassettes in any HD enclosure.
Rear MTP-12 adaptors.
MPC-24-LC-U (Method B / Universal) pairs the outer fibers: LC port 1 carries fibers 1 and 12, port 2 fibers 2 and 11, on to port 6 with fibers 6 and 7. Use it at both ends of a Type B MPO trunk with A-to-B LC cords at both ends. It is the usual choice for new builds, and the same Type B trunk also serves parallel-optic transceivers.
MPC-24-LC-A (Type A) runs straight through: fiber 1 to position 1, on to fiber 12. Use it with Type A trunks (one A-to-B and one A-to-A cord) or Type C trunks (A-to-B cords at both ends), for example to match existing Type A cassettes.

Every mated MPO pair is one pinned and one unpinned connector. The cassette rear ports are pinned, so the trunk legs that plug into them are unpinned.
