Oneoptics.com - terms of use

General

1. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. We have tried to display and specify the goods in our catalog and web site as accurately as possible, but because we can’t guarantee that your monitor displays colors accurately, we can’t guarantee that you are seeing the actual color of our products. Also, while we will do our best to ensure there are no changes to the goods supplied, there might be minor variations to the descriptions or specifications, which occur through changes made by the manufacturers.
3. All logos, service names and graphics used on the site are the trademarks of Oneoptics.com by Halperin Brothers Ltd. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any third party products or services or in any manner that criticizes or brings into disrepute Oneoptics.com. All other brands and names (including third party product names) are the property of their owners.
4. These terms and conditions constitute the whole agreement between us and govern the use of this web site. They supersede all previous written or verbal statements or agreements. All the information in our sales literature is provided for guidance only and won’t form part of this contract, unless we have agreed it in writing with you.
5. None of our customer service staff have the authority to amend, waive or vary any of these terms and no amendment or addition to these terms shall be accepted unless we agree them with you in writing.
6. Goods are sold on condition that they are not resold.
7. To maintain our high quality standards of service we may monitor and record telephone calls.

Ordering
1. When you place your order we will email you to acknowledge receipt.
2. When ordering you must provide us with details of your prescription. Your prescription must have been given to you by a registered medical practitioner or an ophthalmic optician following your eye test and must be less than two years old.
3. We will use the details from the prescription that you give us to produce the lenses for your glasses.
4. If you are unsure of your prescription details, please discuss them with an ophthalmic optician or a registered medical practitioner before you place an order with us.
5. Your eye test should have your pupillary distance ‘PD’ (the measurement between your pupils). If it doesn’t we recommend that you have it measured by an ophthalmic optician or a registered medical practitioner. If you don’t supply us with your actual PD, we will use an average PD, as recommended by qualified opticians, to manufacture your lenses. We will use a PD measurement of 59 mm for reading lenses and 63mm for distance lenses and Bifocals.
6. You must be 18 or older, and not registered blind or partially sighted, to order from us.
7. You have 7 days from the date you order the goods to cancel your order, but as you will appreciate this right don’t apply once we have started to manufacture lenses to your prescription, or fit lenses for you. You must advise us in writing straight away if you would like to cancel your order.
8. We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time and to refund any payments you have made.

Prices and Payment
1. We’ll debit your credit card when we receive your order and if we are unable to supply the goods to you, we will let you know and refund the same card. If you have used some other method of payment we will use the same method to reimburse you.
2. Our prices include VAT. All payments must be in U.S. Dollars.

When you receive your order
When you receive your order, the goods become your property. Please inspect your glasses carefully and in the unlikely event that there is any damage or something is missing, please don’t use them and contact us immediately.

Limitation of Liability 

1. We guarantee the arrival of your brand new eyeglasses in sync with your prescription, in top shape and on time.
2. We don't accept liability for any consequential or incidental damages that arise out of or are related to the purchase of goods or services from this web site.
3. We won't accept liability in case customers provide us with prescriptions not suited to their condition. We highly recommend not to use eyeglasses that aren't suited to your prescription.

Rights to transfer the contract
1. This contract is personal to you. You must not transfer it or any part of it without our written permission.
2. We may subcontract or assign the contract or some part of it to another company, firm, or person.
 
Return Policy
We do our best to provide our customers with a quality product at low prices. Every prescription order is carefully checked by our professional dedicated opticians for prescription accuracy and optical clarity before being shipped to the customer.
However, if for any reason you are unsatisfied with your prescription eyeglasses, just return the eyeglasses within 21 days and we will refund 50% of the cost of the glasses.

Please take note of the following:
1. Shipping expenses for refunds or replacements will be at the customer’s expense.
2. Please advise our customer service team before returning a product.
3. All frames should be returned complete with the case and cleaning cloths.
4. No checks, cash and prescriptions are to be included in the return package.
